Meditation

Sit or lie somewhere comfortable. Focus on your breath. Breathe deeply in and out. Relax the face. Relax the arms. Keeping your eyes closed, imagine that it is dawn and you are standing high on a hill. From this place you can see the sea. You are looking out towards the horizon at the rising sun. Keep your gaze on the sun. Watch as it slowly rises, becoming brighter and brighter the higher it gets. The higher it rises, the warmer it gets. You can feel the heat of the sun penetrating your body, filling you with its warm, healing energy. Keep breathing , in and out, and with each breath this beautiful warmth penetrates more deeply into your body. You feel relaxed yet energised.

 
Now imagine that with each inhale you are drawing pure, clear, white light into yourself. With each exhale you are releasing any part of you that is not pure white light. Easily you breathe in light. Easily you breathe out any part of you that is not light. Soon you feel that you are pure light. In this state you feel loved. Sit for a while in this state. Enjoy the feeling of love.
Then when you are ready bring your awareness back to your breath. Stretch your arms above your head and give thanks for the sun which rises every day and sets every night.
