Winter Meditation
Focus on your breath. Breathe deeply in and out. Relax the face. Relax the arms. Imagine you are sitting in a cave. Your eyes are closed and you can hear the sound of dripping water from somewhere in the distance.
Become very aware of your breathing as the breath enters and leaves your body. You feel calm and quiet in the peace of the cave. Sit for a while with just the sound of the dripping water and your breath.
Now imagine that with each inhale you are drawing pure, clear, balanced energy into yourself. With each exhale you are releasing any part of you that is not purely peaceful and balanced. Easily you breathe in peace. Easily you breathe out any part of you that is not peaceful. Soon you feel that you are pure peace. In this state you feel blessed.
Sit for a while in this peaceful state. Enjoy the feeling of being so peaceful.
Then when you are ready bring your awareness back to your breath. Stretch your arms above your head and give thanks for the ease of being that comes from being at peace.
